Microbiological chemistry

Harnessing microbial power

With over 60 years of experience, our Microbiological Chemistry unit leverages nature's capabilities to advance pharmaceutical and agricultural research. Our microbiological chemistry team specialises in drug metabolite production, preparative biotransformations and protein/plasmid upscaling, utilising state-of-the-art platforms for selective processes that classical methods cannot achieve. Our expertise in redox biocatalysis and fermentation enables us to provide precise solutions tailored to your R&D needs.

Microbiological solutions

Our microbiological expertise drives innovations in both pharmaceuticals and agriculture. Our services encompass metabolite discovery, drug metabolite screening and synthesis, as well as large-scale protein and plasmid production. Explore how our advanced platforms and resources can support your research and development needs.

Metabolite discovery

With decades of expertise in pharmaceuticals and crop protection, we offer a metabolite discovery platform providing comprehensive solutions for drug metabolite challenges, including fermentation, biotransformation and synthesis. We efficiently identify, screen, synthesise and characterise metabolites for pharmacological, DMPK, toxicological testing and analytical methods.
